Day 72: Dragons and Disaster

Well, on the plus side, we got the car into the Mazda service centre this morning. We also got to see How to Train Your Dragon in 3D today. It was delightful and we can all highly recommend it.

On the minus side, we have been given some bad news, which is that the entire gear box of the ute needs to be replaced, which is approximately a 10 day turnaround in Tamworth. We can't even drive it locally for fear of furthering the damage. Words fail me.

We have decided to hire a car and drive up to the Gold Coast in the meantime. Sitting here for another ten days is not an option. The caravan will go into storage here at the Tamworth Big 4 while we are away and we will pick it up on the way back, once the ute is sorted.
