After a blissful night's sleep, feeling like home from home on our new inner spring matress, we awoke rested and ready to roll. Packing up was carefully and systematically done, with a few new routines to get used to and still sorting out what things go where.
We had a little fight with Sheila, who wanted to take us to Renmark via Gawler, meaning that we had to drive through many of the Adelaide suburbs to get there. We were not in the mood for all that traffic, so we took ourselves off via Murray Bridge. It was a long trip - 4 hours altogether - and we got in around 2.15pm. Sheila disagreed with us most of the way, but changed her mind later on.
Renmark is on the Murray River, and as it is a long weekend, we find ourselves surrounded by long-weekenders with their eskies and boats. Yay.
We did a bit of shopping (Woolworths) and headed back to take some pics of the van and have a swim. Here are the photos as promised:
